My Buddys Motorcycle!

My friends should know me by now; however, sometimes they forget I am a bit creative and can get carried away with my bright ideas . My buddy left his motorcycle at my place too long and some strange changes started to manifest themselves.

I will state for the record that I had nothing to do with it! Unless of course it works in which case... wait, maybe I'm delusional....

display

This unsuspecting Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager now has a red display on the left and a red display on the right. This is the voltage for heated gloves and heated jacket, Indicating the amount of power (heat) available to the gear. Sometimes in a crosswind ya wonder if the stuff is even working.

The controls for the one on the left is is up and right of the speaker.

the one on the right is ..well it is there but it is behind the handelbar...who took this pic anyway!

Some of you may be asking 'what is the blue display'? That is the ambient air tempurature. I made it blue because it's Canada and we ride when its cold. Obviously or why would I be installing all this heat control. Air conditioning already works pretty good.

closedisplay

I am really having a lot of fun with the display behind the grill thing. They kind of disappear when off.

The next big question is what about his passenger? Does he not care about the comfort of his lovely passenger? Of course he does! Its touring class, no bitch seat here, its a queen seat!

Oh look, there is now a control and plug-in just for the passenger!

'passenger control

So how is this done you ask? It is done through cute little boxes.

controllers for kawi

So just for fun I installed another D-M optional accessory: the Kaw- wing (Kick Ass Wind - Water Inclination Naturally Gone). They are the barely there, clear plexi glass that is between the upper and lower faring.

They can be turned any direction of choice to scoop air towards the rider or deflect rain rather than funneling it into the riders boots.

here with the kaw-wing open.

Even a Kawasaki rider has to Wing it, from time to time....
