Cup holder for goldwing

When playing out in the hot Montana sun(its a dry heat); very important to stay hydrated. This means consuming copious amounts of water. A cup holder of some kind was therefore in order.

It would appear, after researching on the net, that these things are expensive, funny how the phrases GoldWing, or Stainless Steel add substantially to the value of a simple device. We didn't need ice to keep all day but rather something that would reliably contain water out of the way of passenger's feet, hips and elbow. A trip to Walmart revealed a bicycle water bottle for $15 or less. Even better we discovered, it's easy to replace when a lid goes missing in a parking lot, or possibly somewhere in Glacier National Park...

It was just a matter of mounting it. After all a good mount wins the battle; one--too high, two--not enough clearance, the third was just right.

Mounts #1 and #2 now reside in my scrap iron pile for future use.
