The Companion Website (CW) is complete! The CW hosts to a wide variety of online evaluation tools that you can use in your classroom, or students can access at home.
Using the CW is very easy. You can navigate to the chapter of your choice two ways: either by the menu on the left side of your screen, or the pull-down menu at the top:
Note that you have one-click access to the home page, a search tool, and the ability to construct your own online syllabus. Users are recommended to complete their profile, which will allow you to specify preferences such as where you would like to email quiz results.
After you have selected your chapter, you can choose from a variety of evaluation tools. Once you have selected the type of evaluation you wish to use, a series of questions will be presented. Using radio buttons and pull-down menus, you make your choices:
When you have completed the evaluation, the section can be submitted for grading, with immediate feedback on total results and question-by-question results. Results can even be emailed if you wish.
Question-by-question analysis allows the student to see where they made mistakes, and what the right answer was:
